At “Microwave Church”
I get just what I need,
Packaged with a smile
And delivered with all speed.

At “Slow Cooker Church”
I consider what I hear,
I examine Holy Scripture,
Asking God to make it clear.

In this pressure cooker life,
I’m glad to have a place
Where I can worship God
At a thoughtful, calming pace.
